Senior Developer

We are looking for team members to grow our group of developers working on modern platforms that are disrupting the HR and recruiting industries in Canada. The positions are full-time, or contract-to-hire, full stack or back-end developers.
As part of our team, you will contribute at all stages of an evolving DevOps process and whenever possible, work directly with our international partners in San Francisco, vendors, and customers to improve our products and processes. You will work hands on with each team in the organization to build and maintain our .NET, Angular, and mobile applications. The Canadian DevOps team is based out of Airdrie, Alberta. The salary range for these roles depend on experience and expertise. We offer three weeks vacation starting in the first year.
Requirements
- 5 – 8 years of solid, demonstrable experience with .NET, .NET Core, and/or Angular
- Working knowledge of Git and an understanding of trunk-based development
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure; Especially App Services, Jobs, Functions, SQL Azure, Service Bus, and Traffic Manager
- Familiarity with automated and unit testing tools and practices
- Outgoing, self-motivated team player
- Ability to focus on complex problems and ask for support when it’s required
- Occasional travel to Vancouver and San Francisco as required
Your role
- Work with the team to define, design, implement, test, and support our platforms
- Build integrations with third party platforms such as Workday, HubSpot, Zendesk, and more
- Deliver high quality, on time work that passes regular pen-tests and meets our compliance needs
- Integrate directly with the Customer Success team to understand real-time challenges with the product and our services
- Follow, establish, or refine processes that eliminate constraints or speed up our work
- Collaboratively define and design new features
- Review the work of other developers and integrate it into production releases
- Regularly complete agreed learning plans
